My client based Nuremberg, Germany, is seeking a number of PHY Consultants for 12 month Fixed Term contracts where you will be an employee of the organisation.
Job description:
* Design and implementation of LTE (OFDM) physical layer control SW in C and C++ for ARM processors for mobile platforms
* Definition and description of physical layer SW architecture and SW modeling
* Simulation and verification of algorithms
* Integration and debugging of SW on a virtual platform and on target HW
Required competence:
* Minimum Bachelor of Science or similar degree in relevant Telecommunication/Engineering field
* Experience with physical layer SW development for Embedded systems, RF hardware and/or DSPs, with a minimum of 3 years design experience
* Knowledge of UMTS/LTE or WLAN standards in the physical layer and future developments within 3GPP, OFDM, MIMO
* Experience in performance efficient coding in C/C++ on Embedded systems
* Familiar with the usage of CM and error tracking tools (eg ClearCase)
* Experience in Physical Layer development for mobile phone standards is mandatory
