We are actually looking for technical Support Consultant.
We are currently implementing an internal Infrastructure-as-a-Service platform. Our goal is to provide best-in-class cloud computing services to our internal customers. In order to reach this ambitious target, we have to design, build & operate a datacenter automation/orchestration platform, which covers the whole IT infrastructure stack. We are therefore looking for an IT generalist, who has a very broad knowledge within all disciplines related to our datacenter infrastructure and the surrounding processes/tasks. The candidate will become part of the team, which is responsible for the operation & maintenance of the client.
Skill: Studies in communication engineering, computer science or physics Working knowledge of Virtualization Technologies (for example VMware, XEN) Very strong background & proven work experience within several parts & disciplines of IT Infrastructure (server, network storage technologies) Good knowledge of networking fundamentals, web technologies and protocols (eg TCP/IP, HTTP, TLS/SSL) Experience in the administration of Windows & Linux systems Advanced Programming skills (eg Java, Perl, Shell) and experience with BMC products (eg BMC BladeLogic, BMC Atrium Orchestrator) are a plus Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products
