A European Renewable Energy organisation requires a Scheduler (Planner) for their offshore wind farm projects to be based in Germany. The company dedicates themselves to generating energy out of wind, biomass and biogas. Their unit is also committed to the development of emerging technologies such as PV, geothermal and wave energy.Principal Accountabilities:
. Accountable for maintaining the Project master schedule in line with the approved business plan and work breakdown structure.
. Accountable for change and version control of the baseline schedule.
. Responsible for supporting the evaluation and effect of Package change on the master schedule through the Project change control process.
. Ensure that the clients project planning requirements are met, understood and Embedded within the Project.
. Responsible for monthly reporting from the master schedule including critical path monitoring, forecasting and communication of potential issues.
. Act as scheduling resource on the Project change control review meetings.
. Scenario and ad-hoc planning support.
. Supporting the implementation of project controls.
Knowledge and Skills:
. Degree qualified
. Demonstrable previous experience in a project planner (scheduler) role
. Experience in offshore wind, oil gas, heavy engineering or major civils infrastructure.
. Proficient in MSP, expert in Primavera P6, MS Office
. Excellent communication skills
. Demonstrable competency in leading and/or working within multi-cultural teams.
. Fluent in German and English language skills.
. High level of communication skills.
