My client is looking for a Storage Administrator for a role based in Germany
MODULES/SKILL SET/TASK TO BE COMPLETED
Management of backup and restore systems based on IBM TSM and Sympana
Certification or backup storage and SAN platforms (including Brocade, HDS, IBM , EMC, Fujitsu, Quantum, Oracle ( STK), TSM, Netbackup , Simpana )Very good knowledge and experience with the systems and IBM TSM Sympana Comvault and Linux platforms, Solaris, andWindows is required
Editing changes, incidents and problems
Willingness to weekend and holiday work and frequent on-call duties
Very good knowledge of the ITIL processes V2/V3
Ensuring the stability of the managed ICT platform
Taking over tasks in the control and fault operation of ICT platforms , notably planning , provisioning, configuration , removal, monitoring, troubleshooting and problem solving
Automation of business processes
Care phase of the "Run ' of the ICT operation
Very good knowledge of German mandatory
With good project appraisal prospect of a long- term commitment
