For our customer, an inter-governmental organisation located in Darmstadt/Germany we are looking for a Web Developer.
TASKS
· Web Area maintenance
· Use of the content management tool for Intranet and Internet page update
· Maintenance of Web Content and Documentation Baseline
· Support to Web related engineering activities
· Support the Steering Groups
· Maintain the FTP Server
· Support the Web-integration
· Support the generation and maintenance of the SCOPE-CM web services
PROFILE
As a minimum, the consultant shall have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent and the experience and skills, hereafter specified, are mandatory;
Experience
· Extensive experience in designing and implementing web content and services in Internet, Intranet and Extranet systems across distributed web sites;
· Experience of Web Contents Management Systems.
· Experience in Relational Database (eg: Oracle) and metadata management for documentation system based on the extranet
Technology Skills
· Extensive experience in PHP/JavaScript/HTML;
· Experience in Relational Database (eg Oracle).
Experience in one or more of the following will be considered as an advantage:
· Use of Web Collaboration Tools;
· Knowledge Internet applications (eg FTP, SMTP, NNTP);
· Some experience in Graphic Tools (eg, Photoshop);
· “Flash” development experience;
· Some knowledge of image processing;
· Some knowledge in XML;
Basic knowledge of:
· Project Planning;
· Configuration Control;
· ECSS System Engineering Standards.
· Experience of working in an ISO-certified environment would be appreciated.
Personal skills and Working Language
The consultant shall have good personal communication skills. The working language for the position is English, knowledge of French is an advantage.
Candidates must have a passport of an EU member state or a valid work permit for Germany
