Task:The role is for a OLAP developer with a sound Web knowledge.
Role activities include:
- OLAP: development and maintenance of the existing solution, administration of MS Analysis Services and MS SQL
- Provide level 3 specialist support for: OLAP, MS Analysis Services and MS SQL
- Impact analysis, testing and documenting changes
- Maintenance and enhancement of existing web interface (.Net technology)
Requirements (Must have):
- Degree in Information Technology (IT) or Software Engineering
- Several years work experience as an OLAP developer
- Experience in data warehousing (Kimball methodology) and Business Intelligence reporting
- Knowledge of Web technology (Microsoft IIS, MS .Net, MS Visual Studio)
- Fluent English is a must, conversational German would be beneficial
Furthermore, you are :
- Accustomed to working in an international and multicultural team
- Willing to learn new technologies
Technologies used in the team are:
- Database / ETL: Oracle 11g
- OLAP (SS AS 2008), ASLB
- Microsoft IIS, MS .Net, C#, MS Visual Studio
- Reporting: Business Objects ; Panorama NovaView
Nice to have:
The successful candidate will also be able to communicate effectively in English and German, both spoken and written, and to work effectively with permanent staff, consultants and staff from other divisions on a daily basis.
