Be responsible for the IP network of Integration Centre.Support the integration of new Mobile Data Service products in the complex infrastructure.
Close interworking with the IP designer and planning is required. Trouble shooting of connection and configurations.
Identify need for technical evolution of the existing network solution, draft proposals for maintenance projects and co-ordinate their implementation.
Genaue Aufgabenbeschreibung:
Specifically, the technical tasks are to:
- analyse network requirements coming from new Mobile Data Service
Integration projects or from network maintenance demand (end-of-life
replacement, design optimisation, etc).
- Map production design in a network integration document.
All documentation is in English!
- align the integration network design with the system architects, Security, Transport Network Planning, Testing and Operations.
- Work out switch, router, load balancer and firewall configurations
- support the implementation of the configurations in the test facilities
(you will have access to the lab environment)
- place Change Requests for external connection in Germany or other countries.
- co-ordinate and troubleshoot the execution of Change Requests for the integration environment.
- support the Planning Project Lead for the implementation in the production network.
- support the IP relevant programs like IPv6

Experience in design, configuration and trouble shooting of IP network elements in data centers (VPN`s, VLAN, Load Balancer, Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Load-Balancer), especially in existing production environments - required level +++
Experience in the components of a mobile network ++
Experience MPLS ++
Experience as pure IP Network Designer and Operator - required level +++
Experience with Cisco network components on CCNP level - required level +++
Experience with Checkpoint Firewalls on Crossbeam - required level +
Sprachen Deutsch ++

- high communication skills, enjoy interaction with people from the various
functions in Germany or abroad
- high ability to deal with complex processes and responsibility split
- high self-management ability when working on 5 to 10 projects at a time.
- strong dedication to working as a designer with documents, reviews, meetings,
Change Requests, but without write-access to network components.
