Our client is currently looking for an Oracle Intranet & Website Support Engineer (m/f) for a project in Darmstadt (Germany).


Task description

• Assistance and support of the Central Inventory Officer in maintaining a central inventory database in SAP, to perform physical inventory checks within the Organisation
• Administration of the warehousing area where incoming and outgoing goods are processed
• Perform visual check of goods received on their condition, check delivery documentation against content and register the deliveries in SAP
• Inform in-house recipients of goods receipt and initiate their distribution
• Prepare goods for dispatch
• Shipping and customs documentation after consultation with the Central Inventory Officer
• Hand-over shipments (with the relevant documentation) to freight forwarders
• Perform physical inventory checks throughout the Organisation of the actual inventory vs. the inventory registered in the Central Inventory Database
• Maintain inventory records in SAP
• Maintain the stock of office stationery items and provide a stationery store function


Skills

• At least 2 years of experience of warehouse activities including goods receipt/ goods dispatch processing
• Knowledge of office stationery items
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Familiar with the use of SAP and in particular good knowledge of SAP R/3 (MM/PM)
• General knowledge of shipping services (courier, airfreight and overland transports)
• Experience in tracking and identifying technical items including office IT equipment, telecommunication tools and/ or satellite control equipment
• A valid licence to drive a forklift truck


Required language(s): English, German
Location: Darmstadt (Germany) but travel within Europe may be required for certain activities.
Duration: 01/12 until 01/13 (extension optional)
