Beschreibung

Aufgaben:

• Develops designs for complete and complex engineering systems, structures and plant arrangements with minimum supervision.
• Utilizes engineering and design software to perform engineering and design tasks.
• Ensures knowledge and use of current design & engineering concepts where applicable
• Designs product for manufacturability, quality, reliability, safety and cost control.
• Analyzes research & test data and proposed product specifications to determine feasibility of the product.
• Confers with research and other engineering personnel & prepares design modifications as required.
• Interprets work instructions and drawings to ensure full understanding prior to and during completion of work.
• Remains available for all issues which arise during manufacture, analyses and resolves design & manufacturing related issues which occur, and communicates directly with the required personnel for resolution if required.
• Interprets company policies & ensures that safety regulations are adhered to at all times

• Certifications / Training
• Experience with 3D CAD applying manufacturing guidelines to improve quality and generate cost reduction.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks, ProEngineer, CATIA, Ansys, Windows Operating Systems, and Microsoft Office Software.
• Experience in applying FEA methods for structural analyses (i.e. SolidWorks Simulation).
• Must be experienced in taking a project from concept, analyze structurally and mechanically and produce design for manufacturing
• Design Experience for manufacturability is required, especially looking for experience in design of machined components utilizing mills, lathes, etc. and in the design of welding operations
• Excellent communication skills and interactive abilities
• Supervisory experience a definite plus.
• Open to occasional travel if required.
• English language skills (fluently speaking and writing)

Projekt-/Einsatzhauptstandorte sind Stuttgart und München, bitte bevorzugten bei Bewerbung angeben. Start nach Verfügbarkeit mit einer Laufzeit von mindestens einem Jahr + Option!
