We are looking for a Network Engineer in the area of Basel:Description:
Ensuring smooth operation and economic efficiency of network infrastructures using modern, tried and tested technologies.
Tasks:
- Developing guidelines for the installation of data communications equipment
- Creating network architectures and concepts
- Developing functional specifications and requirements specifications
- Performing evaluations for the procurement of suitable network components
- Planning and installation of networks (equipment and components)
- Managing network projects
- Operating and maintaining networks
- Monitoring technological developments and assessing possible applications of these new technologies.
- Analyzing and monitoring network traffic and quality of transmission
- Identifying and solving hardware and software errors and faults in the network
Skills:
Cisco Wireless network engineer
Leverage existing clients DMZ infrastructure delivering internet access for iphone/ipad in the frame of mobility project to provide regional internet access to Roche guest. Replace current Blue socket portal by Cisco WLAN controller anchor. Take in account regional languages for landing page.
Experience : hands on experience on Cisco WLAN environment.
Language : Proficient in English. Used to write documentation.. German is a plus.
