JOB DESCRIPTION AND ROLE

My client is looking for an SAP Release Manager for a role based in Germany

MODULES/SKILL SET/TASK TO BE COMPLETED

Complete Release including management and implementation of environmental management in the SAP environment

Planning and controlling the provision of development, test and production environments for new applications and to update/infrastructure components
Planning and controlling the performance of acceptance tests
Introduction and implementation of the necessary technical rollout of applications/infrastructure components
Support the Service Level Manager (SLM) in the preparation of offers
Coordination of the use of acceptance and production environments
Initial investigation of the requirements for the environments and making them available (development, testing, acceptance, production)
Creation of a coordinated planning area as part of release management project plan
Deadline and requirement-oriented provision of environments (development, testing, acceptance, production)
Participation in QM activities following the introduction (lessons learned)
Planning and coordinating the introduction of one or more releases of applications/infrastructure components and systems
Play the role of the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all the relevant issues between project implementation and management
Knowledge regarding the service provision according to ITIL
Coordinating the creation of the RM-Plan
Responsibility for quality assurance in the conduct of the amount of planning, environment, deployment, and the quantities and resource monitoring
Control of process management within the SLM process

Good knowledge of SAP
