*Great New opportunity for a (Perl, Linux) Software Developer/based in Germany*
Location: Germany (Munich)
Duration: 6 months +
Rate: £300 - £400 per day (depending on experience)
My client is is a leading international provider of IT security solutions with a network of 19 offices in 9 countries worldwide. With approximately 500 employees in 2010, they achieved a turnover of EUR 188.2 million.
The Role:
To strengthen our development team in based in Munich.
Your tasks:
Log, file, analysis and remote maintenance of security systems in customers' networks
Software development in Perl, Shell, C + + and PHP for our Security Service Appliance on Linux.
Development of our agent software for Linux and Windows.
Infrastructure development of our Security Management Centre.
Implementation of services to existing and new security products, including perimeter security, content security, Threat and Vulnerability Management, Identity and Access Management.
3rd level support for our Security Management Centre Worldwide.
Development and implementation of QA testing and documentation.
Own responsibility for successful project orientation.
Your profile:
Computer science degree or equivalent qualification.
Experience in software development, in particular good knowledge of Perl.
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP networks, ideally with experience of security.
Experience in system administration/monitoring of Linux and Windows systems.
Oracle, Remedy, and other programming languages would be an advantage.
Personal responsibility and systematic way of working.
Very good command of spoken and written.
Excellent communication skills.
