Embedded Software Engineer - WinCE, Device Drivers - Contract - Germany
An exciting development opportunity is currently required for an experienced Embedded software engineer with excellent knowledge of C and C++ and experience working in a low level WinCE environment
Sucessful engineers will join a talented display contollers team and will be responsible for designing and developing Embedded software drivers, library functions and applications as well as developing firmware and/or hardware to facilitiate hardware bring-up and test.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a number of Windows Embedded CE drivers targeting ARM processors
- Bring up new hardware in conjucntion with the hardware team
Essential Skills
- At leas 5 years experience developing reliable Embedded applications for C and C++
- Experience developing time critical/efficient low level code in assember
- Ability to design small hardware solutions to aid in the test or integration of software blocks
- Experience of WinCE display driver architecture and WinCE Device Drivers
- Experience working with USB, Bluetooth and 80.11 or similar protocols would be highly beneficial
