Contribute to the IP network design of Mobile Data Service solutions hosted in Data Centers in various locations in Germany.Support Mobile Data Service product introduction as IP designer and planner.
Genaue Aufgabenbeschreibung:
Specifically, the technical tasks are to:
- Contribute to the network integration design and extensively document it in Product Network Design and System Network Design documents. All documentation is in English!
- Contribute to the creation of switch, router, load balancer and firewall configurations
- document configuration in the relevant Configuration Management Database.
- support the evaluation of these configurations in test facilities
(you will have access to a small lab environment, but not to test facility equipment)
- Contribute to migration concepts for Live Network
- place Change Requests to Operations (no change execution done by yourself, no write-access to any Live Network system) using a Work Order Management tool.
- co-ordinate and troubleshoot the execution of Change Requests.
- support the BAU project managers and Planning Project Lead in Mobile Data Service

Erfahrung mit Design, Aufbau und Inbetriebnahme von IP Netzwerken im Datacenter (VPN`s, VLAN, Load Balancer, Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Load-Balancer), auch unter produktiven Bedingungen - Level +
Erfahrung als reiner IP Network Designer, nicht Operator - Level +
Erfahrung mit Cisco Netzwerk Komponenten (auf CCNP Level) - Level +
Erfahrung mit Checkpoint Firewalls (auf Crossbeam) - Level +
Sprachen Deutsch ++
Soft skills required:
- high communication skills, enjoy interaction with people from the various
functions in Germany or abroad
- high ability to deal with complex processes and responsibility split
- high self-management ability when working on 5 to 10 projects at a time.
- strong dedication to working as a designer with documents, reviews, meetings,
