TätigkeitenbeschreibungFor our client we are looking for a Technology Security Consultant (m/f/d) to support the German CISO team.
Project description:
The Security Consultant is a technical role and will be part of the German CISO team. He or she is responsible for aligning the necessary technical security in place needed to protect the client´s data and solutions. This role will be a hybrid role and be part of the business' project team and also the CISO team. The person's responsibilities will include designing security solutions or reviewing current project designs against the client´s security standards and best practices, as well as identifying risks or threats and supporting the business in improving security. The work can be done from any of the client´s 20 offices in Germany or from remote locations.
Project responsibilites:
Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats
Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they occur
Create solutions that align business needs with information and cyber security requirements
Work with the business project team on ensuring security and compliance requirements are met
Support the agile product and project teams on implementing the "security shift left" and "security by design" strategy
Guide other CISO and business teams in security designs and cultivating a sense of security awareness
Remain up to date with the latest security trends, threat landscape and security products
Your Profile
Technology security is your passion! You have a broad understanding of information security requirements, standards and technologies but also understand the current threat landscape
Advanced IT Security certifications (e.g. OSCP, OSWE, GWAPT, GPEN, Azure AZ-500, AWS Security Certified Specialty, CISSP) may be advantageous
You have at least 5 years of experience in designing security architectures and implementing security technologies as a Security Consultant or Security Architect, Designer or Engineer
You have proven expertise in at least 3 of the following areas:
Cloud Security, Application Security, Container Security, Network Security, Vulnerability Assessment & Management, Security Assessment / Penetration Testing, DevSecOps, Identity & Access Management, Logging & Monitoring, Incident Response or Threat
Management
Expertise in cloud architecture and security fundamentals across major cloud providers Azure (preferred), AWS and/or GCP
It is essential that you can communicate fluently in English, and desired is knowledge of the German language
