On behalf of our client, Nicoll Curtin are looking to recruit an OAT Test Manager, who will be responsible for the planning and management of the Operational Acceptance phase of testing. The role will be based in Germany and requires an individual who is fluent in both German and English.
The role will entail:
- Ensuring that changes targeted for delivery into production will perform in the production environment and are operationally ready.
- Managing various functional and non-functional testing
- Protecting the production environment
- Team lead of OAT testers
- Responsible for planning and managing the OAT phase of testing
- Providing the Test Discipline to support the supplier through creation of a test plan and schedule, management of defects through HP Quality Center, management of progress against plan and creation of a Test Completion report at the end of the cycle
- Reporting to an overall test manager
- You will act as a single point of contact for Project and Test Managers to request OAT resources to support projects and changes
Requirements:
- ISEB practitioner
- Previous experience within testing at a management level
- Functional and non-functional test experience
- ITIL
- Excellent HP Quality Center skills across all modules
- Previous experience in managing Operational Acceptance Testing
- Energy trading experience
- A solid understanding of the full development life cycle
- Appreciation of a wide range of test tools and methods. Specifically knowledge and experience of HP test tools including; Quality Center, Quick Test Professional and LoadRunner
- Sound appreciation of the following test areas: non-functional testing, test automation, performance, resilience, failover, backup and restore, networks/server/switch installations, alerting and monitoring and restore
- Fluent in English and German
