Our Approach
To long term staff the below mentioned project we are looking for independent contractors who would like to join Resources Global as associate consultant and subsequently be engaged in this project.
The Project
Our client is conducting a global program to rollout SAP as their major ERP Software always in conjunction with special solutions or specific interfaces like Manufacturing Execution Solutions, Warehouse Management or even top-notch Variant Configurators. This ERP implementation is an integral part of their global initiative to increase and restructure the manufacturing and distribution capacities.
Currently we want to staff at least two project leadership roles within major SAP roll out projects within the manufacturing and or automotive sectors at location in Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands and Russia. The task in the projects include the phases from pre kick off until post go live support.
The Role
Tasks
- Lead SAP implementation Project in pan-European locations to ensure delivery on time, within budget in the defined quality
- Responsible for Scope management on project level
- Ensure that tasks of different teams are focused on project deliverables
- Manage additional requests not part of the initial scope
- Measure and monitor progress of the deliverables to ensure that the business capability is delivered on time and within budget by applying the defined project management tools
- Manage risks within the project and escalate them if needed
- Lead implementation team and work closely with the team of the implementation partner
- Report to Program Lead VP of IT and Global PMO as well as the executive steering committees / boards
- Communicate regularly with functional and cross-functional team leads
- Additional tasks might be added depending on internal direction and priorities
Requirements
- Extensive Project Management / leadership experience in complex SAP implementation projects
- Manufacturing industry experience required, ideally in Automotive, Aerospace, Transport
- Experience in conducting complex projects in multinational companies with Matrix organizations
- High level of business acumen and solution architecture understanding
- Strong communication and presentation skills at senior leadership level
- Good team management skills
- Fluent in English necessary language skills in either German, French or Italian are helpful
Our Proposition

Duration: approx. 1 year with possible extension
Daily Rate: competitive € based, plus expenses and VAT
