Looking for a L2 Firewall Administrator with Checkpoint experience. This is a contract opportunity located in Russelsheim, Germany.
DUTIES:
1. Responsible for administration of network firewalls.
2. Responsible to translate client requirements in to detailed actions for execution.
3. Required to follow detailed change management and incident management processes.
4. Investigate and resolve incident tickets.
5. Communicate with other technical teams regarding Firewall operations.
6. Troubleshoot traffic passing managed firewalls.
7. Troubleshoot connectivity issues through firewalls.
8. Utilize packet capture features to aid in analysis of network issues.
9. Responsible to review work products from Level 1 support organization and mentor level 1 personnel to meet quality and timeliness requirements.
10. Work in a fast paced operations environment.
REQUIRED:
1. 3-5 years experience with Checkpoint firewalls.
2. Excellent TCP/IP networking skills.
3. Excellent communication skill in English - both writing and speaking.
4. Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
5. Ability to work within a global organization with different cultures.
6. Detail Oriented.
7. On call/shift work.
DESIRED:
1. Checkpoint CCSA preferred.

1. Bachelors Degree
