Oracle DBA, Server Operations, Unix Systems, Systems Administration - My well known financial client, based in the Frankfurt area, seeks an experienced Systems Administrator. Your role will be to administer Unix Servers (Linux and Solaris) Oracle and DB2 data bases and Veritas clusters. You will also be involved in the planning of system landscapes using the technologies mentioned above.
My client is seeking candidates with the following skills and experience: university educated in computer sciences/information technologies or comparable qualification; extensive experience in operation of cluster system environments (especially on basis of Veritas products), Veritas Volume Manager and Oracle RAC databases; deep knowledge of Oracle DBA tasks and good knowledge of Unix ( especially Solaris ) Candidates should be bi-lingual (German and English ) It would also be desirable to have some knowledge of WebSphere MQ, Connect Direct and IBM DB2.
