Software Engineer for developing/maintaining python test framework, Exciting opportunity to work within financial sector (ie no banking experience required!)
Our client is a leading financial institution seeking a Software Engineer for a versatile python test framework on a electronic trading system.
The developer will be responsible for maintaining and developing a model driven python test framework.
In particular they will be maintaining the code generators for the bridging modules between python and the various native libraries or C/C++ custom libraries.
Additionally they will be required to develop and execute performance and technical tests for our high end trading system. The target platform is Linux.
Required Skills:
In depth knowledge of python and python compilers/interpreters, Python Multithreading and its obstacles, Various C/C++ Python bridging techniques such as Boost Python, twisted, Knowledge in pyGTK, Cheetah, PyXB, CMake is beneficial, Good Linux skills, Experience of software development processes in large projects, Ability to work in an international project team, A good command of English is a must; German nice-to-have but certainly not essential.
