Purchasing, Procurement, Tender, Compliance, Finance - My client, a major player in international financial services, is seeking a Purchasing/Procurement Specialist. You will be responsible for tasks such as the negotiation, administration, procurement and sourcing for professional services. You will manage third party service providers, run competitor benchmarking with local markets and understand cost comparisons. You will be involved in the running of professional services tender projects with the ability to develop the specifications and requirements of the sourcing process. You will monitor compliance issues and identify cost reduction potentials. You will have excellent communication skills which you will use to collaborate closely with internal and external partners.
I am looking for candidates who have a university degree and ideally have some relevant professional experience. A legal background or experience in recruitment would be welcome. Knowledge of the consulting business in Luxembourg would be an asset. You should have strong MS-Office applications. Specific knowledge of SAP-MM/SRM and/or ePrecurement or eSourcing systems would be ideal.
