We are looking for an expert (f/m) for L2/L3 testing for our telecommunication client in Nuremberg for the following requested skills and tasks:
Job description:
- Perform Layer 2/Layer 3 feature tests of modem platforms and mobile phones against system simulators (protocol test equipment like R&S CMW500, Anritsu MD8430A,..)
- Analysis and troubleshooting of erroneous behaviours in close cooperation with the SW Design teams
- Compile test results and report test status
Required competence:
- Minimum Bachelor of Science or similar degree in relevant Telecommunication/Engineering field
- Knowledge of LTE / WCDMA / HSDPA (>Rel. 8) standards and protocols including physical layer and air interface Experience with wireless data devices on related technologies
- Able to test and evaluate wireless communication systems through handset and network/system simulator log analysis and post processing tools
- Very good communication skills (German/English)
The start will be ASAP and the duration of the engagement is long term.
The position requires a project-related employment at Harvey Nash, so an EU citizenship is mandatory.
