Currently we are searching for one candidate who is able to cover the following position:Project description:
the server have to integrate into the production environment
create a documentaion of the implementation
Tasks:
create a Netbootimage:
- send the systeminformation (SN, HW, identidier like MAC) to a htpp server
- configinfo get via http
- configurate remote mgt components (IMM)
extend the automate install procedure for IBM HW (firmware, componentconfiguration) with netboot
configure the OS-specific netbootimages (Linux/VMWare) to allow a automated install (e.g. integrate IBM spezific driver)
create modules for HW collection
integrate the HW-components in the monitoring tool (NAGIOS integration)
create a module to get the information of the config an fw levels
create a module to update and configure the HW in a patchday
create a module to create images of firmware updates
Must-Have Skills:
know-how in scripting in Linux/VMWare
knowledge about IBM Tools, like ASU, mpCLI, IBM Scripting toolkit for Linux
