For one of our clients we are looking for a Change Management/ Organization Development Berater.

Task description:

The Organizational Effectiveness department is new and currently set up. There work is not yet well organized and linear. Support is required with regards to providing consulting to different larger or smaller projects on a higher, strategic advisory level rather than day to day support.
Candidates need to have knowledge and experience in change management and organizational design. The person needed can either be a junior person or a senior person. The level of competence will then define the degree of independent involvement into topics.
The support will include developing change roadmaps, designing and conducting workshops and other interventions, coaching project managers and other managers to ensure that projects are successful.

Main responsibilities:

Understand the main tools, techniques and the theory behind organization design and change management. Sample tools and methodologies could be:
- How to set up and structure projects
- Workshop design and facilitation
- Process Analysis and Design knowledge
- Organization Structure design
- Communication plan
- Vision techniques

Required skills:

Practical Experience gained in a consulting firm and/or in a larger organization, ideally working in an international environment. Sample experiences could be:
- Restructuring of a business unit
- Setting up new org. units
- Growth/ innovation initiatives (from a change and organization development perspective)
- Culture change
- ...

A more senior person with a solid methodological background and experience and with experience in working on leadership level could work more independently with the clients in-house and generate work as well. My role as a head of the department would then be more in the area of providing to guidance.

OR

Respectively a junior person would rather work under close supervision of the client with relatively straight work products/ deliverables. Face time to internal clients would be relatively little.

Please Note: What this is not about is project management.
