On behalf of our client, a prestigious International Telecommunications Company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for a IT Specialist to be based permanently in Munich – Germany on a one year contract with possibility of extension.Responsibilities to include Implementation and maintenance of regional/office network, including
WAN/LAN/Voice solution design, network equipment’s configurations and
deployment, network system troubleshooting.
You will also be responsible for system implementation and maintenance, including windows server system, web application system, database and storage
system, Construction and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including IT server
room, structure cabling system, video conference system, UPS, service provider quotation, bidding, negotiation and supervising the engineering work provided by service provider
Also User support and to prepare laptops/computers with corporate standard
OS/Software/Application and security settings along with training on IT platforms/OA/Application/Services
Our client requires a bachelor degree or above with major in computer or information related Technologies with 5 years work experience or more in a similar role
You must be familiar with WAN technologies, corporate-level network architecture and
data communications such as Frame Relay, PPP and MPLS and Proficient in routing protocols and configurations, such as BGP, OSPF etc
You should also be familiar with LAN technologies, knows building-level LAN architecture.
Proficient in common LAN protocols and configurations, such as VLAN,
STP etc. Familiar with switches is preferred and knowledge of virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), Databases (Oracle/MS SQL server), also Unix/Linux, SQL, Scripting i.e. PowerShell/VB(A)/PL SQL/TSQL and Windows server systems, such as AD (Active Directory), DNS,DHCP, Web server, SharePoint etc, and proficient in application/server/network troubleshooting and maintenance.
Knows clustering, disk arrays, SAN/NAS storage, storage virtualization etc.
Skilful in IT infrastructure items, such as server room facilities, structure
cabling system, UPS, door access control/CCTV, air conditioning etc.
Skilful in laptop/desktop, OS, office software troubleshooting and
Maintenance.
Good German language is also required
