Task:Reporting to the Operations Manager:
- Capturing and preparation of high quality submission data for the underwriting process
- Preparation work related to underwriting, risk assessment, portfolio monitoring, business planning and client/ broker visits, filing
- Utilizing various software tools to capture and summarize underwriting information
- To assist in monitoring business reporting and analysis
- Ad hoc project work
Requirements (Must have):
- The ability to work within a multi-functional underwriting team
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Good communication skills with the ability to work in a dynamic environment
- The ability to deliver high standards in data quality in his/her day to day work.The position would be interesting for candidates who have a flare for working with numbers.
- Prior experience in reinsurance underwriting support is a prerequisite
- Prior exposure to motor reinsurance is not a prerequisite but would be advantageous
- Former working experience with the SiCS reinsurance system would be desirable
- The candidate should be fluent in English and French. Spanish language skills would be beneficial
