We are looking for a Business Analyst in the Area of Zurich:

!!PERMANENT POSITION OR CONTRACTING!!

Tasks:
- Support and administration of IT applications for the gategroup global HR teams; gathering of end user requirements, coordination of developments with technical support teams
?- Analyze business requirements and coordinate the implementation with the development teams
?- Coordinate project tasks and issue resolution steps between group HR, country HR organizations across the globe, and external system providers; handling of the application life cycle, including planning patches, enhancements and modifications of existing applications as well as evaluation and development of new projects
?- Ensure applications such as regular backups, testing restores are maintained; ensure appropriate access to users. Adhere to change management policy by documenting changes and writing technical specification of the change
?- Prioritize and manage responses via Service Desk; escalate and report appropriate problems to the Global IT development team; ensure a log of all IT support requests and their outcomes
- Handle all 2nd line Application Support requests
?- Organize the system operation via the various technical teams
?- Coordinate issue resolutions across the relevant business and IT teams
?- Assist in the development of application enhancements
- Coordinate the work required for new interface developments and reporting needs
?- Monitor interface and ensure data integrity by resolving technical issues and working data content related issues with country, regional and global HR teams
?- Manage technical staff from external vendors

Skills:
?- Basic knowledge in the technology fields of: database technology (preferably Oracle), Middleware technology like ETL and data transformation tools, reporting tools (like Crystal Reports)
?- Excellent and effective coordination and organization skills
?- Good communication skills
?- Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office
?- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
?- Very good English skills, both written and spoken
- Project management experience
?- Familiarity with HR processes and data protection legislation
?- Experience with standard HR IT systems
?- Working knowledge of ITIL processes
