For one of our clients we are looking for a L1 (Incident Management) Engineer.Main task:
· Monitoring all Transmission Networks (DWDM, SDH, PDH) on NMS ,EMS & FMS (Netcool)
· 1st line repairs and maintenance:
ü Solving incidents with a clear solution
ü Pro active testing and tests after changes
ü Identify& Locate network faults/ issues
ü Skilled trouble shooting investigations before handing over to incidents experts
· Coordinate and control Transmission network incidents with the OEMs / TAC
· Check log files/interface status of network equipments proactively
· Check Performance KPI trends for each Network Segments
· Trouble Ticket Management of troubles reported
· 24x7 network alarms surveillance
Required skills:
· 3 Years of Telecom Service provider in Transmission NOC or Operation
· Hands on experience in Alcatel Lucent DWDM (ITMSC),SDH (1353 NM & RM),Marconi MV38, Netcool FMS
· Proven knowledge of a wide range of Transport network & Technologies: DWDM, SDH, PDH
· Fluently (reading, writing and speaking) in English & Dutch
