For one of our clients we are looking for an Senior SAP HR ABAP Developer/ Interface AnalystTask Description:
The client has asked to renew their old legacy applications for Finance and Human Resource Services. The project has a projected duration from October 2008 till December 2011.
Main Tasks:
The senior developer will work in the HR interface team within the Information Technology & Development work stream. Modules: PA/PY/OM/SW
He is responsible for technical and functional design, build and transition to the maintenance team. Additionally he is the team lead of the HR Development team.
He cooperates with the Client, HR functional and the technical PI team. Furthermore he assists the testing team, explaining the technical possibilities and resolves upcoming issues and defects.
Completes technical signoff documents, consists of final defect and test reports, transition documents and consideration of client feedback.
Major Roles & Responsibilities:
Supports existing interfaces through customer service, maintenance, and problem resolution from the technical perspective
* Creates and directs creation (design, implement, test) of SAP custom interface programs
* Documentation of all work products
* Supports client requests by providing technical input to design and implementations
* Maintains active working partnership with client developers, counterparts and the functional deportments
* Shares knowledge and coaches his team and the client developers
Required Skills:
Familiarity with the HCM specific ABAP programming techniques PA/PY/OM/SW
Knowledge of interface and data transfer methodologies
File formats like XML, XSD, CSV, etc.
Ability to translate functional requirements into technical designs
