We are searching freelancer for our customer, an international pharma company, to support it as aProgrammer Analyst - General - Level II (m/w)
Tasks:
? The Biology Information System Group serves the global NIBR biological research community to provide them with the best of breed informatics platforms as well as in-depth data analysis services.
? You should be a highly motivated team player with a proven record of operating applications in a productive environment.
? We are looking for a technical expert with deep knowledge of aspects of the operating environment such as middleware, operating systems, deployment, debugging and managing a data workflow including ETL.
? Backend maintenance of operational scientific systems based on Oracle with a web-frontend
? Manipulation and pipeline processing of large data sets
? Deployment and testing of new database and application versions Skills
? Experience installing and configuring middleware such as Tomcat, Apache
? Experience installing backend tools such as Perl
? Good experience with scripting such as shell scripts and Perl and Ant as a deployment tool
? Broad experience with Oracle and PL / SQL programing
? Experience with complex software installations consisting of web, application server and database components
? Good problem solving skills and capacity of reverse engineering in C (mandatory) and Java
? Experience writing effient extract procedures for ETL •Good understanding of http protocol
? Bioinformatics experience is a plus
