Beschreibung

Your area of responsibility basically includes maintaining the different SharePoint farms, based on Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010, in terms of

o 2nd and 3rd level support.
o Coordination and alignment of backup / restore requests.
o Frontend server maintenance and performance optimization.
o Database server maintenance and performance optimization.
o Health checking the entire farm after software upgrades.
o Setup, optimize and react on in-place monitoring tools in alignment with hardware operations team.
o Plan and implement load tests and performance tests for custom solutions.
o Manage solution deployments (Development -> Staging -> Productive)
o Align with hardware/OS operations team for patch management.

Anforderung:
Essential skills
? Maintaining excellent knowledge in administrating SharePoint farms in mid and large environments.
? Excellent skills in maintaining Windows Server operating systems, ideally Windows Server 2008 R2, and corresponding services, i.e. IIS 7.
? Excellent skills in maintaining SQL Server, ideally Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2.
? In-depth knowledge of maintaining and optimizing SharePoint farms (via PowerShell).
? Detailed knowledge of TCP/IP, Proxy (Squid and/or ISA Server) and Firewalls.
? Practical Experience working with business and technical users.
? Self motivated and able to work self sufficiently and disciplined.
? In complex situations you combine analytic skills with pragmatism.
? Fluent in German and English.

Desirable skills
? Basic knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure, such as
o Active Directory
o Project Server
o SQL Server Clustering
o SQL Server Reporting Services
o NTLM/Kerberos
o Windows NLB
? Source code build management with SVN
