- Acts as the focal point for all Global activities involving voice communications
- Acts as a Technical Owner for global Voice & Mobile solutions technologies and is one of the lead architects for Voice and Mobile solutions globally and supports the current Technical Owner for Mobiles and MEM support
- Responsible for a professional lifecycle management of the entire environment of Voice/Mobile solutions and applications.
- Responsible for global TEM (Telecom Expense Management)
- Directs technical implementations (through vendors) to interconnect existing qualified Voice and Mobile solutions
- Manage projects in the deployment of Voice communication infrastructure in the areas:
- PBX and Call Control Servers, ACD for Call Centers, Order Desks and Shared Services
- IP Telephony (VoIP) integration with Global WAN and LAN groups
- Integration of future technologies including Unified Communications, Mobiles solutions like One number service etc.
- Creates Voice and mobile services. Develops support processes and practices for contracts, licensing and maintenance programs
- Monitors compliance to support contracts, licensing and maintenance programs
- Manages supplier services and monitors compliance with requirements
- Remains cognizant of the marketplace, key suppliers and their product direction
- Uses ITIL (V3) and quality management technologies to continuously improve IT processes
- Works closely with the operational staffs of the Service Desk and the Service Delivery Organiza
- Minimum of at least 4 years in deploying and providing Voice & Mobile services incl. Voice applications
- Preferred 2-3 years experience with global vendor management to fully support TEM
- Demonstrable experience developing and implementing technological solutions and services
- Experience should include VoIP technologies using SIP, SIP trunking in complex networks, have Business application (like SAP) integration done successfully.
- Experience with service operation of complex VoiP/ Video and wireless enabled networks
- An advantage will be good skills with Microsoft OCS and Lync incl. interworking with other IP systems from Siemens and Cisco
- Associates Degree – Communications (ie. Technical), Computer Science, Information Technology or demonstrable experience in these fields
