- Management and future enhancement of the content management system and technical infrastructure for our clients web sites
- Integration of web applications, database resources and search engine technologies
- Provide technical support for this infrastructure to internal customers
- Analyze requirements closely interacting with the clients user community
- Oversee implementation projects and service contracts with external resources
- Opportunities exist for continued training and development of skills.
- The candidate will join the IT Services organization and report to the Manager Software & Solutions Development.
- The ideal candidate must have proven experience in web application development (e.g. using PHP) with at least two years professional experience.
- Strong background on standard technologies (XML, JavaScript, basic SQL, CSS…) and scripting languages (e.g. Perl, bash, Tcl) to integrate different information resources is required; capabilities in the area of Oracle database management would be a plus.
- Professional background in the area of Linux system administration and the management of web and application servers would be an asset.
- The Software Engineer/Analyst should also have strong ‘usability skills’.
- Good working knowledge of English is required and knowledge of German will be a plus.
