Task:
To deliver a reliable, high performing Global IT service to all stakeholders through the following activities:
- Global IT Operations planning and management including Wintel, SAP, WAN, and Service desk and desk side support based on ITIL principles
- Management of outsourced Telecommunications and Data center service providers
- Plan and coordinate IT infrastructure and operational changes
- Manage service availability, capacity, performance and continuity
- Provide service measurement and service reporting
- Coordinate disaster recovery planning and management
- Secur systems, networks and business information from unauthorised access
- Manage all operational processes through a close relationship with the IT teams at the local sites
- Ensure a high availability of critical applications such as SAP, email, file shares, internet, intranet and remote access to meet agreed service levels.
- Manage the ongoing performance of IT infrastructure assets through the coordination of both internal and external resources to meet quality, performance and customer service level requirements and standards.
- Oversee the reliable and secure operation of IT services and infrastructure to meet business requirements, including supporting policy and governance frameworks.
- Lead and promote the use of the ITIL methodology to the global IT team to achieve an effective standardised approach to operations management.

Requirements (Must have):
- Computing / IT or associated degree qualification
- 5+ years in IT Operations where an ERP is the major application
- 3+ years in Global operations management or supervisory roles
- Experience in ITIL based, outsourced operations and service desk management, manufacturing, heavy industry or utility type businesses
- Exposure to sophisticated and integrated systems management tools
- Experience with SLA and KPI management
- This role is required to be on-call 24 hours, 7 days a week for urgent helpdesk calls (levels 2-3 support)
