Aufgabe:To manage the delivery of infrastructure projects across the Company Group within agreed timescales, budgets and quality standards, complying with the Group?s processes and policies. Delivering a flexible and adaptable global technology architecture to support an evolving business, through the leadership and management of infrastructure projects. Select, lead and motivate project teams from both internal and external resources to ensure the successful delivery of the project scope and the realisation of the agreed benefits.
- To lead and manage projects delivering infrastructure solutions across the Company Group globally.
- Works with the delivery manager of business solution projects to ensure the timely delivery of infrastructure components and capabilities underpinning the delivery of IT business solutions.
- Ensure strong project sponsorship is maintained through regular reviews and appropriate relationships. Understand business objectives and benefits of a project by discussion and liaison with the Project Sponsor.
- Establish realistic schedules that reflect not only the technical ability to deliver, but also the ability of business staff to participate in the project.
- Ensure that all project dependencies are clearly identified and that the ?owners? fully appreciate their responsibilities
- Develop distinctive project working practices which reflect business rather than technical values as the primary drivers for actions and decisions; cultivate a management style which reflects the importance of ownership, commitment and reliability
- Assist in the development of the Company Group?s Projects structure, working practices and processes to improve Group IT?s ability to respond to business demand and improve professional capability.
- Identify the resource needs of the project, and identify the appropriate resourcing (Internal & External) to ensure project is executed effectively and deliverables are realised.
- Plan the utilisation of the Company Group?s IT technical resources by scheduling staff and utilising strengths, skills, knowledge and experience of the team members globally to achieve the desired goals.
- Ensure all team members have clarity on agreed deliverables, and that the deliverables are realistic and attainable.
- Monitor overall performance of project team members mutually and provide feedback to line managers if appropriate.
- Continually assesses project performance, assessing appropriate changes to ensure agreed deliverables and milestones are met.
- Ensure the generation of Project Plans, clearly identifying deliverables, milestones and governance approach.
- Establish a process for exception alerting on escalated issues and unexpected project impacts, together with resolution options.
- Ensure than any 3rd Party plans upon which the project is dependant and fully integrated into the overall project plans
- Establish, in conjunction with the Infrastructure Programmes Manager, a process for the regular reporting and progress monitoring of all projects for which accountable.
- Ensure realistic project status reports are produced and communicated on a regular basis, covering key commercial, financial and delivery performance issues, preparing high level summaries for steering committees
- Ensure that appropriate quality assurance and risk assessment reviews are performed on all projects.
- Ensure projects have change control and issue resolution processes established
Anforderung:
- Extensive Experience within international Infrastructure Project Management
- German native speaker or fluent in written and spoken
- English native speaker or fluent in written and spoken
