On behalf of our client, a prestigious International Telecommunications Company, Manning Global Group is currently looking for a number of Solution Strategists to be based in Germany, UK, France, Spain or Sweden. Freelancer or Part-time can be considered.Main Responsibilities:
I. Participate and conduct high level (strategic) dialogues with valued customers.
II. Identify any challenges, pain-points for both our customers as well as end-users.
III. Identify and create potential new and attractive solutions.
IV. Promote internally such new potential solutions.
The position involves focusing on business issues which players across the industry experience. The solution strategist provides expertise by assisting in the formulation, development, and implementation of revenue generating (conceptual) solutions and strategies. Develop new business through recommendation of such strategic solutions
Provide on-going support and expertise to customers (on CxO level), assisting them in meeting/exceeding their goals and objectives. Develop and maintain customer, government, and professional relationships for the Company and conduct meetings with different levels on the customer site and conducting workshops.
The solution strategist plays a leadership function in charting the Company’s course in new business driven solutions. He/she should coach management (internal), such that they fully understand the proposed solution that deal with the Customer’s challenges, mission, profit and performance goals.
Report and meet frequently to ensure that the management team has up to date situational awareness of all core issues and operating data pertinent to sound decision making.
Requirements:
· 15-20 years of experience of which 10 years of progressive management experience (CxO or GM level) at a Telecommunication operator or Management Consulting with a focus on the Telecommunications industry.
The solution strategist must have passion to solve complex business problems related to the telecommunications industry. They have the ability to view the long-range trends and cycles of the business and industry, to see the “big picture.”
Candidates must possess superior analytical and problem solving skills. They are required to expediently gather and analyze data, presenting it to, while making recommendations regarding possible solutions.
They must be skilled communicators. They interact with all levels of employee in their departments, as well as the senior management team. Additionally, strong relationship-building skills are imperative, as they will have to effectively work with all areas of the firm in order to successfully perform duties. They have the ability to lead and inspire colleagues, to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.
