Tätigkeit:For our customer we are searching for a Test-Manager (m/f). Description: A programme has been initiated to rebuild the current global service management platform, to provide a more stable, scalable and better performing solution, which is more closely aligned to the out-of-the-box product. The current testing capability is immature, and a testing team now needs to be established which delivers the appropriate testing services given the critically of the platform. Tasks: The Test-Manager will be responsible for all aspects of testing on the programme - including (but not limited to) product and integration testing, load and performance testing, and managing UAT testing. Define a test strategy to meet the needs of the programme, and which accommodates the future needs of the rebuilt platform. Get buy-in for the strategy from other key figures in the programme - Programme Manager, Head of Development, Head of Architectures, Head of Governance, Head of Product Management, and Head of WSM. Get buy-in and commitment from the main stakeholders. Liaise with the platform vender, Service-now, to implement aspects of their in-house testing approaches (where applicable). Work with the programme manager to recruit the other testing team members. Implement the test strategy to cover SIT, UAT, Load / Stress and other required phases - includes such things as amendments to the E2E process to accommodate robust testing, templates for scripts, automation (if required), reporting, defect tracking and CSIP. Required Skills: 5 -10 years hands-on testing experience, good knowledge of testing tools, including implementing from scratch at a greenfield site, significant experience of the full end-to-end lifecycle of a large development project, using different methods - e.g. waterfall, agile, successfully established a testing function for a web-based application development environment (Java script / Glide), good knowledge of service management platform functionality - Service-now, BMC Remedy, HP etc. Duration: June 2011 until October 2011.
