The Ansible automation consultant is responsible to automate system configuration tasks in an agile team.
The customers aim is zero touch provisioning for their new cloud delivery model.
Responsibilities:
* Automate system configuration tasks based on user stories
* Develop automated tests
* Work in flexible roles within a self-managed, cross functional team outside of traditional IT support layers
* Try continuously to learn, to experiment and improve daily work
Key deliverables/accountabilities:
* Ansible playbooks
* Automated python tests
* Work in a self-managed agile DevOps team
Requirements
* Fluent in written and verbal English
Personal skills and qualities:
* Be flexible and open minded
* You have agility to learn new technologies quickly
* Proactive and the ability to work without supervision
* Experience in agile delivery teams incl. tooling and processes
* Willing to go extra miles should this be required
Technical skills:
One or more of the following skills are required (the more the better):
* Amazon Web Services (AWS) like EC2, RDS, ECS, S3, Cloud Watch, IAM and others
* Infrastructure Platforms like Aurora, Redis, CA API Gateway and Concourse Pipeline
* Service-Development based on JDK, SpringBoot, Single Page Apps, Angular, Node JS, React-IS
* Container Technologies like Docker & Kubernetes
* Technologies like OAUTH 2.0 or Openid Connect, OpenAPI
Tools like
Maven, Nexus, GIT
Helm Charts, Terraform, Cloud Formation,Stash, Istio, Kiali, Jaeger
Jenkins, Jfrog, SonarQube
Postman, Shell/Python scripting * Collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence
Besonderheiten:
