Our Customer is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work as an IT Security Project Manager within the IT Security Operations team.This role sits within the IT Security Operations team which is responsible for Operational Security and reports into the IT Security Operations Team Lead. The IT Security Project Manager will responsible for the project management and delivery of the new Endpoint Security rollout
Objective / Purpose of role
IT INFRA is responsible for providing IT Services to every company within the Group (up to 20,000 users).
IT INFRA consists of the following functional areas:
• Data Centre & Cloud
• End User Computing
• IT Security
• Networking and Unified Communications
• Service Management
Role Description (key accountabilities, activities)
• Responsible for the full project life cycle ownership: successful project delivery will include full implementation from initiation to deployment
• Develop, execute, co-ordinate and monitor overall project plans (in MS Project), tasks, and milestones. Implements management processes to identify, report, and monitor project issues and risks.
• Work directly with IT and Business Stakeholders, third parties, and MSSP to ensure project success
• Responsible for arranging meetings with all key stakeholders to drive the project deliverables and milestones forward
• Manage and co-ordinate work with different teams, including third party resources, contractors etc
• Understand the project objectives and scope to assess associated requirements
• Proactively recognise risks or issues, and do not wait to respond to them
• Ensure all project risks and issues are tracked and escalated to the correct forums, as necessary and regularly maintain RAID logs so they can be referenced by any stakeholder
• Identify, resolve and/or escalate roadblocks, issues, and conflicts with the IT Security Operations Team Lead
• Conduct stage gates at least at the end of plan and before deployment to production
• Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, communicating across leadership including the Head of IT Security and IT INFRA Management Team
• Report on project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities
• Work with the IT Security Endpoint Protection manager to report on key metrics related to project status
• Support transition/handover of work items to the Third Party and as usual state once project deliverables are complete
Competencies Required (technical skills, knowledge)
• Structured project management experience in deploying security-related initiatives
• Proven track record in successfully delivery of large-scale complex projects
• Domain experience in cyber security, information security, strongly desired
• Experience managing large, complex and/or multiple projects in information security or cyber security
• Familiarity with energy industry practices, methodologies and tools is desired but not essentially
• Strong leadership, management and stakeholder relationship skills.
• The ability to find innovative ways to resolve problems.
• Experience of working with and managing a third party
• Ability to create documentation
• Ability to resolve problems independently and understand the escalation procedure
• Knowledge and experience with Windows, Unix/Linux
• Requires a deep understanding of infrastructure technologies across domains to gain credibility and manage multiple work streams and complex projects
• Proficiency in the Waterfall and Agile project management methodologies is required
• Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
Skills with an advantage but not essential:
• Working knowledge of an Endpoint Protection architecture
• Understanding of security governance, risk and compliance
• Understanding and familiarity with cloud security and concepts

• This individual should also be a self-starter who has experience taking initiative and translating loosely defined requirements into actionable, timely, and relevant intelligence reports
• Excellent written and verbal communication as well as prior experience delivering presentations to senior IT leadership
• Strong verbal presentation and writing skills, including the demonstrated ability to write clear and concise text.
• Excellent analytical abilities and a strong ability to think creatively when approaching issues
• Experience managing complex stakeholder relationships
• Confident in working with a diverse set of stockholders in the organisation from technical through board level.

Required Qualifications:
o Bachelors or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, cyber security
o Project management certification (e. g. PMP, CMP, PRINCE2)
o Microsoft Office, MS Visio and Project Professional skills are required
