Data Scientist - 100% Remote
For one of our clients we are currently looking for a Data Scientist on a freelance basis.

Our client is looking for a Data Scientist that's highly skilled in Excel, Tableau and/or Micro Strategy (data visualization) and Alteryx (automatization) to create the first Digital Market Intelligence Report. The person will also be responsible to lead the creation of an online repository for multiple other reports that are currently in Excel format (preferred Tableau, Micro Strategy also accepted).

Tasks:

1. Data Management

• Data Engineering
• Extract raw data from primary sources
• Create and improve data cleansing process
• Create, improve and generate output from ETL process
• Assess new data sources
• Provide an action plan with details of how to enhance existing sources
• Enhance current data sources by combining with other datasets

Data Governance

• Assess data categorization
• Develop and improve mapping files
• Develop and improve data glossary
• Improve data sharing process

Quality Assurance

• Validate data accuracy by comparing results from different sources
• Develop process for validate output from ETL process
• Guarantee data quality from ETL outputs

Documentation

• Develop documentation from ETL processes
• Develop documentation from mapping files
• Develop documentation from data sharing process

2. Reports Management

• Optimization/Management
• Improve backend from current reports
• Improve layout from current reports
• Generate final reports

Development

• Develop backend for new reports
• Develop layout for new reports

Documentation

• Develop documentation explaining report structure
• Develop documentation explaining how to generate the reports
