- Fully understand a given design and apply it to the own coding activity Implement software based on a given design and business requirements
- Understand the meaningfulness of coding standards and apply them
- Identify and realize nonfunctional needs
- Write developer test cases and integrate them in automatic unit test systems, if necessary
- Integrate systems (=foreign software components or solutions/products) into the existing software landscape (standardized or individually written)
- Prepare software so that it builds and deploys without errors
- Write, review and roll out operator manuals (eg) which reflect software specifics that are necessary to know for proper operation
- Elaborate and implement monitoring needs
- Apply given security rules to daily coding
- Commit all written code to specified code repositories
