SAP Architect (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Develop sizing and solution design for new SAP installations as well as for SAP migration projects
- Support the journey of the customer to SAP S/4 or alternative successors of current SAP landscapes
- Translate business needs into solution architecture requirements and understand the long-term and short-term perspectives of an IT investment situation
- Work closely with stakeholders from various lines of business to develop architecture blueprints and realistic roadmap
- Analyze current SAP architecture to identify weaknesses and develop opportunities for improvement such as enhancing processes, expanding capacity or performance optimization
- Design integration strategy for 3rd party applications and cloud solutions
- Create, update and support security related concepts for the operation of SAP landscapes, in consideration of actual market standards and internal ISMS controls
- Analyze technology industry, market trends and impact of SaaS/Cloud and determine the potential impact on the enterprise
- Maintain relationship with SAP ecosystem vendors and maintain vendor roadmaps
- Facilitate the evaluation and selection of software product standards
Main qualifications
- Experience with: AP Architecture, managing complex SAP landscapes; HANA DB; Oracle DB
- In-depth knowledge of SAP release update, EHP
- Strong experience in architecting SAP solutions: SAP ERP, IS-U, CRM, BW, Treasury, SRM, SLT, Business Objects; Data integration technology (SLT, PI/PO, SDI, DS, etc.); ITILv3/ITSM; TOGAF
- Experience with S/4, SAP cloud connector, SAP on Azure is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Unicode- and OS/DB migration beneficial
