For a customer in Leverkusen we are currently looking for a

ChemInformatics Expert (m/f/d)

Role description / Skills required
- Solid experience in the field of Cheminformatics
- Hands on expertise in developing new algorithms for similarity search
- Previous experience in the development and technical implementation of molecular fingerprints.
- Skilled in Python programming and in the use of cheminformatics toolkits (RDkit)
- Sound understanding of biomolecular concepts; enzymes, substrates, etc.
- Good experience in Digital Finger Prints
- Dealing with experiment data on enzymes and chemicals, as these details are to be stored in database and later needed to identify the right enzyme

Nice to have:
- Data analysis and statistical modelling skills
- Familiar with Linux environments
- Previous experience in PostgreSQL
