* Safety:Be a safety ambassador.
Check frequently every day whether everyone is performing their work safely and professionally. Direct intervention if necessary. If in doubt, first clarify.
Carry out a thorough start work analysis with each permit issue.
Maintaining contacts/consultation with:
Engineering department for feedback and/or consultation for technical solutions.
Contractor(s) - recording mutual practiceduring progress meetings, and other meetings.
Plant representatives (gatekeepers, manreps, etc.)
In execution of the work:
Take decisions about extra and less work, by validating the scope with the package.
Administrate of the extra and less work a contractor will come with.
Preparing, checking and issuing permits.
Inspection of the quality of the work delivered, or organize this for third parties.
Solving technical imperfections, if desired in consultation with the engineering department.
Monitoring the schedule.
Monitor that the expected quality of the work to be delivered is delivered by the contractor.

Leadership in setting safety expectations to the contractors.
Stop work in case of doubt.
To be a Gatekeeper in publishing work in the field: SWA and BBP
In execution of the work:
Follow-up of all activities as described in the LS as well as the contracts.
Education/ experience:
Secondary training level 4- Electric and Instrumentation techniques or equivalent diploma and VCA VOL (Dutch safety passport) or equivalent.
In possession of Driver's License B.
Good communication of the (Dutch), English and French (English and mainly French is a must)
At least 5 years of experience in working in petro-(chemical) industry.
Technical competences:
Experience in using Microsoft Office (e.g. Word and Excel)
Some knowledge / being familiar with process/ petro-(chemical) installations
Knowledge of control systems: specially for this project Emmerson DeltaV
Knowledge of the standards for electrical installations.
Knowledge of glass fiber technology,
Knowledge of electrical installations (MDP, SDP, motor drawers, circuits, etc.)
Mastery of all the basic techniques required for the installation of measuring and control equipment.
Instruments used include: P and dP transmitters (flow, pressure and level)
Knowledge about inline flowmeters (vortex, magnetic and ultrasonic)
Knowledge of level meters (displacement, float and vibrating fork)
Knowledge of temperature measurements (thermocouple, pt-100 with or not with transmitters)
Knowledge of control valves and open and closed valves, plug, ball and/or butterfly valves.
After entering employment acquire specific competencies, such as: company specific safety proceduress and company specific technical specifications(EMETL)
