Basically, we are looking for strong PHP backend developers with experience in designing, building or scaling transactional workloads. The following points are important to us:
Minimum requirements:
-A high level of experience and seniority with PHP and MySQL is an absolute must. As well as the ability to quickly work into larger legacy monoliths. Which will gradually be split into microservices.
- At least 3 years of experience with PHP backend software development, ideally in combination with the Symfony framework, alternatively with other PHP frameworks such as Laravel etc.
- Strong database knowledge, especially with MySQL, but also NoSQL databases, ideally MongoDB (you have worked directly on systems that write to databases in a transactional environment in which a number of updates have to take place at the same time)
- Strong knowledge of architecture (especially Event Driven Systems, Event Sourcing, possibly CQRS, Domain Driven Design would be great, modularization / encapsulation, SOLID, Robust Systems, Distributed Systems, API Design)
- Previous experience in working with agile methods such as Scrum / Kanban
-Fluent knowledge of English (at least C1), as well as the willingness to work in an English-speaking team
- Ability to work in autonomous teams and to organize oneself (just passively processing tickets is not sufficient)
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Protobuf, is a plus
-Experience in e-commerce is a big plus
- Experience in payment or accounting is a plus
-Experience in a rapidly growing work environment (e.g. startups) is a plus
- Knowledge of macro-architecture
