Software Developer - JUPYTER Frontend (m/f/d)For one of our clients we are currently looking for a Software Developer - JUPYTER Frontend (m/f/d) on a freelance basis.
Aufgabenbeschreibung:
The Future Creation Technologies team maintains a portfolio of software solutions specifically created for Innovation projects within the client. We support in many areas of the innovation process. From the creation of individual algorithms to the creation and maintenance of complex creation tools.
The innovation projects are owned by our partners in several client business units. Our team needs to closely collaborate with these business partners in order to understand and implement the requirements of the project.
To consult the client in one of these projects we are looking for a software engineer with at least 2 years of experience in professional web frontend and Python development. Some experience with 3D web technologies would be beneficial.
Task
- Building a ThreeJS Rendering Plugin for Our JuPyter Based 4D Development Suite
Your tasks will include:
- Get acquainted with the JuPyter plugin system
- Implement 3D renderers for our various types of development and production data
- Implement editing capabilities for the 3D data
- Implement real-time data update for live editing feedback from the “backend”
- Possibly port Python functionality to Javascript for performance reasons
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Four-year college or university degree with focus on computer science or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient spoken and written command of English or German
- At least 2-year experience in professional software development – from requirements through post-release.
- Expert knowledge in Javascript
- Expert knowledge in Python
- Experience in web-based 3D graphics engines, e.g., three.js
- Experience in using and writing plugins for JuPyter notebooks / JuPyterLab
- Solid experience in web design and UI design using HTML 5, CSS3
- Experience with React JS + Redux
- Experience in Responsive Single Page Application development
- Implementing rest API's with Node JS, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins
- Knowledge of Typescript
- DevOps mindset. We don’t throw things over the fence. We care of the whole process
