Role Summary:A Principal Consultant is an individual with an professional qualification and with at least 6
years of industry or functional or IT skills. The Principal Consultant is an authority in a IT
specific functional area, leads new service offerings and has a proven track record in project
deliveries and/or account management in a complex vendor environment. The Principal
Consultant is used to complex, long-term work (several months) with one customer. He creates
or creates & leads a new project in a new service line and is able to develop a solution strategy
for client’s business needs with IT offerings. Has the capacity to interact with IT technical staff,
clients and partners. Project Management skills are desirable. Works on more than one
engagement at a time.
Profile Description:
"3rd party resources to support IT Infrastructure operations (e.g. 1st, 2nd, 3rd level IT support,
Server and Landscape and Data center operations) which maintain SAP's ongoing business operation
/ business continuity. Hardware and software maintenance (break/fix, upgrades, etc.) is NOT
included!
Infrastructure specific Services: Network and Telecommunication Specialists, Storage-, Server-, SAP
Basis –Operation Specialists, Client Technology Field Support, IT Helpdesk, IT NON-SAP Product
Specialists, IT Security."
Technical Skills:
Required Skills: -
• Docker, DNS, Mail, Network Analytics, Monitoring
• Kubernetes, Performance Benchmarks
• Experience with application operation running in a public cloud
Nice to Have: -
• Docker, Micro Services, OO-Programming, PHP
• Python, Redis, MySQL, Message Queue
Soft Skills:
• Good communication skills in English and German and a collaborative attitude
Preferred Location: Germany / Remote
Experience: Minimum IT Experience 3-6 Years.
