(Senior) Geospatial Data Engineer (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Develop and optimize geospatial data and features for Geoweb throughout the pre-processing, automatization and deployment of data and services
- Enhance our customer facing REST APIs with new data and services
- Implement features, analyses and processing services
- Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and easy-to-read code for data crunching
- Collaborate with other stakeholders during the conception stage
- Coordinate changes to the data with our test developers
- Bring in own ideas to help improve all aspects of our applications
Main qualifications
- PostgreSQL with PostGIS
- GDAL
- GIS Software skills in QGIS & ESRI ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro
- Python (specially experience in the geospatial context)
- High Automatization skills on geospatial data
- High level of quality awareness for geospatial data
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work in an agile team
- Team player
- Self-responsible
- Motivated
- Drive
- Good English skills (German optional)
