Our client is reinventing the car and home insurance market by offering an innovative online service for the German market. The platform is a backend heavy environment that requires strong security features and continuous upgrading.They are looking for a mid-senior SRE engineer, who enjoys learning and solving problems, that can help migrate their current services to AWS. The company currently runs a monolithic architecture, but they are looking to expand by deploying additional micro-services to their architecture.
Your role will be to assist 3 other SRE engineers on the project with the execution of daily tasks by responding to tickets distributed by the tech lead. You will be reporting to the CTO directly.
The company has a strong teaching and growth culture, therefore, this is a great opportunity to grow an SRE engineer.
Requirements:
Mid level SRE engineer with experience working with Kubernetes and KVM
Experience with Terraform and Grafana are a Big Plus
You are available to start immediately
You are willing to make a commitment to a 3-month contract with the option to extend to 6-months.
Experience working in Java/Kotlin environment is a big plus
You have an open mindset and willing to learn and grow as an engineer.
You have a collaborative approach to working
Working independently is not a problem for you.
