My client, a global leader in their respective field are seeking a Data Engineer for a start as soon as possible. The client are moving from a traditional DataLake to a traditional Cloud based Modern data architecture and are seeking a consultant with the following skills to assist;- Strong knowledge of Hadoop, HDFS, MapR
- Good knowledge of Python & Spark
- Some fundamental knowledge of AWS - (EC2, S3, Lambda etc.)
- Good knowledge of DevOps tools such as Docker & Kubernetes
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and comfort in agile environments
- Good communicator in English, German would be a +
- Based in Germany, available to start as of April latest.
